ProCure Proton Therapy Center appoints Trevor Twyford as Director of Medical Physics and Dosimetry
One of only 27 proton beam therapy centers nationwide promotes Oklahoma City employee
OKLAHOMA CITY (July 26, 2018) - ProCure Proton Therapy Center recently promoted medical physicist and radiation safety officer, Trevor Twyford, to director of medical physics and dosimetry. In this new position at one of only 27 proton beam therapy centers in the nation, Twyford will oversee multiple departments within the facility to ensure patient care and safety remains top priority.
Twyford received his masters degree from Columbia University prior to starting his career at Hampton University’s Proton Therapy Center. With more than eight years of experience working with proton therapy, various vendors, treatment planning systems and treatment service providers, Twyford enjoys working on new and emerging technologies that can enhance the patient care experience.

ProCure is the only operational proton radiation therapy center in Oklahoma and one of approximately two dozen centers nationwide.
