How did you find out about proton therapy?
I learned about proton therapy radiation in college. When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, I knew I wanted this treatment.

Why did you decide to become an advocate for ProCure and proton therapy?
Proton therapy offers less collateral damage, fewer side effects, and is more specific to the tumor. It also stops when it gets to the tumor, unlike x-ray radiation which goes all the way through the body. I want others to know about what ProCure can do. I want them to know the difference between proton therapy and regular radiation.

What is your favorite memory of your time at ProCure?
I just loved becoming a part of the family at ProCure. The staff is outstanding and makes you feel so welcome and embraced.

Because of proton therapy
Because of ProCure, I get to enjoy my grandkids and GREAT grandkids more! I feel like I will get to live a longer life and be able to have more time with them.
