At ProCure, we are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art proton therapy in a supportive environment that focuses not only on your treatment, but also on your overall well-being so you can heal faster and get back to a normal life. The medical team is made up of radiation oncologists, nurses, radiation therapists, and treatment team assistants who are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a healing environment.
The Doctors
ProCure’s radiation oncologists are members of Radiation Medicine Associates (RMA). RMA is the first physician group in Oklahoma to treat patients with proton therapy. The radiation oncologists of RMA will plan the course of therapy, manage the clinical care, and conduct weekly check-ups to ensure that the patient's treatment is on track.
The radiation oncologists of RMA collectively have more than 70 years of medical experience. They are leaders in the field and are known for clinical excellence as well as for pioneering new technologies to treat cancer. RMA was among the first radiation oncology practices in the state to offer advanced radiation treatments such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), Gamma Knife, brachytherapy, and TomoTherapy. With specializations in brain, head and neck, prostate, breast, lung, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal cancers, RMA has the expertise to provide the highest level of medical care to patients.

The Care Teams
At the ProCure Proton Therapy Center, your care will be managed by both your doctor and your Care Team, who will manage your therapy throughout your treatment. We understand the importance of personal relationships. Your Care Team will make it a point to know you and your loved ones and will look for ways to make you comfortable while you are with us.
Your Care Team is composed of:
- Your consulting radiation oncologist from Radiation Medicine Associates
- A registered nurse with experience in radiation therapy
- Board-certified radiation therapists
- Treatment team assistants
A member of your Care Team will assist you as you prepare for your daily treatment and make sure that you are fully informed about your progress. Your nurse will be your medical liaison and help coordinate any additional medical services you might need during treatment, including blood tests, scans, medical appointments, and other cancer treatment in combination with your proton-therapy treatment.
Besides the Care Team members you interact with during treatment sessions, an expanded team of professionals work hard behind the scenes to ensure your treatment is personalized in order to achieve the best possible outcome. This team includes dosimetrists, medical physicists, machinists, engineers, an intake nurse, concierge, financial counselor, social worker, and dietician.
