We have financial counselors ready to help guide you through the financial process. Proton therapy is covered by many private insurance plans, Medicare, and many state Medicaid programs. The cost of proton therapy varies according to the diagnosis and the extent of treatment needed. Because coverage evaluation for proton therapy depends on each patient's specific tumor type and insurance plan, the length of time it takes to determine coverage varies from case to case.
Our financial counselor will assist you in understanding your insurance coverage, coordinating insurance payments, and finding alternative means of financing. We do not want to see anyone go without protons because of financial issues, and our counselors will work closely with patients who need financial assistance.
Insurance providers
ProCure has contracts with many national and local insurance plans. We are establishing relationships with more payers and health plans to make the financial process easier for you. If your plan isn’t on our list, do not get discouraged. Our financial counselor will provide you with individualized support and work directly with your insurance company to present the clinical need for proton therapy.
