The Cancer Center At CentraState

CentraState Healthcare System offers the full spectrum of cancer care services, including cancer screenings, diagnostic services, chemotherapy, surgery and radiation therapy. At CentraState’s Cancer Center, patients are in the good hands of world-class oncologists who trained at renowned cancer centers. The center’s multidisciplinary, compassionate approach to cancer treatment ensures that patients receive continuous, integrated care and support. CentraState also provides innovative, post-treatment wellness programs to guide patients and their families through the recovery journey.

The Cancer Center at CentraState couples physician expertise with the latest diagnostic technologies available. The Women's Health Center has been named a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence for its digital mammography and other diagnostic procedures by the American College of Radiology. In addition, CentraState’s Hereditary Oncology Prevention and Evaluation (HOPE) Program, offered in partnership with The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, can provide patients with genetic counseling and testing.

The Comprehensive Cancer Center at CentraState has access to national clinical trials as an affiliate of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Because CentraState participates in national trials, it offers patients the opportunity to receive cutting edge treatments with all the benefits of staying close to home.

CentraState’s Cancer Program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, which sets the standard for cancer care programs in the nation. In 2011, CentraState earned a three-year reaccreditation with commendation as a "Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program".

CentraState Healthcare System

CentraState Healthcare System is a non-profit community health organization consisting of an acute-care hospital, an ambulatory care campus, three senior living communities, a family medicine residency program, and a charitable foundation. The facility has 284 beds and a medical staff of over 500. It partners with the Robert Wood Johnson Health Network and The Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
