ProCure and hospital affiliate William Beaumont Hospitals received approval from the Michigan Department of Community Health to develop the state's first proton therapy center. In October, 2010, William Beaumont Hospitals requested that the Michigan Certificate of Need Commission amend its earlier approval for Beaumont to construct a proton therapy center in collaboration with ProCure, reducing the size of the center from four to two rooms.
